Principal's Message 3-8-24

Principal's Message 3-8-24

We are thrilled to share that we have successfully completed three quarters of the school year, and it's truly inspiring to witness the collective effort of our students and staff. Each day, our Adena community comes together to create a positive and engaging learning environment, and we are grateful for the commitment to excellence that we have in our school.

As we gear up for the final stretch before Spring Break, I would like to remind you that there will be no school on Friday, March 8, as our staff engages in valuable professional development opportunities. This day is essential in ensuring that our educators are equipped with the latest tools and strategies to support the growth and success of our students.  Furthermore, I am pleased to inform you that 3rd quarter report cards will be posted to the Home Access Center on March 20th at 3:00 pm. This will provide you with a comprehensive overview of your child's academic progress, and we encourage you to take the time to review and discuss their achievements.

As we approach Spring Break, which will take place from March 25th to 29th, please be reminded that Lakota Schools will be closed during this period. It's a well-deserved opportunity for our students, staff, and families to recharge and spend quality time together.  Before we embark on the break, I want to extend a heartfelt shoutout and "good luck" to all our Adena March Madness teams! We will be cheering passionately for you, and your hard work and sportsmanship truly exemplify the spirit of our school community.

Wishing you a fantastic weekend and looking forward to the continued success of our Adena family.

With gratitude,

Kevin Thomas, Principal
