Gifted Services
At the elementary level, we provide gifted services in the content areas of English language arts and math. In addition, sixth-graders may also qualify for advanced science and social studies.
Meet Our Gifted Intervention Specialist
Our GIS partners with our classroom teachers to provide training and strategies for differentiating our gifted students' learning in their identified areas.
Molly Remer Adams
Molly has been teaching since 2001 and has been with Lakota 11 of those years. She was previously the GIS for Endeavor Elementary for 8 years but has been teaching 4th grade Math and Math Plus for the past three years. Before that, she taught in Winton Woods, Chicago and Cincinnati Public Schools. Molly is pictured here with her husband Quentin, and children Oliver (16) and Willow (13). While not at school, you can find Molly officiating swim meets, growing plants, exercising and completing jigsaw puzzles.
